2024 Lakeland Winter Collector Car Auction Canceled

LAKELAND, FL – Carlisle Auctions, a Pennsylvania-based classic and collector car auction company, has been making Central Florida its home for more than a decade. Along the way, it has entertained thousands with various forms of automotive entertainment, including its widely popular two-day classic and collector car auctions. These auctions have seen great success along the way, including its two offerings in 2023. Regrettably, Carlisle Auctions must announce the cancelation of its upcoming Lakeland Winter Collector Car Auction for 2024.

The Lakeland Winter Collector Car Auction was scheduled for March 1-2 at the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus, a spacious multi-use facility that has hosted Carlisle Auctions since 2015. The winter auction would typically take place in February, but due to date availability options during the scheduling process, March dates were selected for 2024. Recently, a date conflict was identified when it was reported that the auction was scheduled for the same weekend as the popular Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in northeast Florida. Out of respect for our automotive enthusiasts and our friends at Amelia Island, a one-year hiatus of the winter auction has been implemented, with a planned February 2025 return.

Meanwhile, Carlisle Auctions turns its attention to its two Pennsylvania-based offerings for 2024; the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Auction (April 18-19) and the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction (October 3-4). Each auction is held at the Carlisle Expo Center and hosts 400+ consignments spanning all eras of automotive production. There’s even an all-truck hour, offering some of the best trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, etc. that are on the market.

Best of all, for 2024, Carlisle Events, the parent company of Carlisle Auctions, is celebrating 50 years. As part of this milestone/year-long celebration, Carlisle Auctions will offer $74 consignment pricing for ANY 1974 consignment. This tie-in is directly related to 1974, the year Carlisle Events hosted its first automotive weekend.

Carlisle Auctions continues to offer three great ways to bid; in person, on the phone, and online. For complete details on the 2024 Carlisle Auctions schedule, register to bid, consign a vehicle, etc., call Carlisle Auctions at 717-960-6400 or visit CarlisleAuctions.com.

Carlisle Events, celebrating 50 years in 2024, is a partner or producer of over a dozen annual collector car/truck events. Events are held at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds (Carlisle, PA), Allentown Fairgrounds (Allentown, PA), and the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus (Lakeland, FL). The season schedule includes automotive flea markets of varying sizes, multiple auctions, as well as individual specialty shows featuring Corvettes, Fords, GMs, Chryslers, trucks, imports, tuners, and performance sport compacts. Founded in 1974 by friends Bill Miller and Chip Miller, events hosted at Carlisle attract enthusiasts annually from all corners of the globe.
